Welcome to Monologs ("the App", "the Platform", "we", "us", "our"). Monologs is a talent discovery platform connecting actors and performers with casting professionals in the film, television, theatre, and commercial industries.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Monologs app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Monologs.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email where possible.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Monologs.
Users under 13: We do not knowingly permit users under the age of 13 to create accounts. If you are under 13, you may not use this platform. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will immediately delete their account and all associated data.
Users aged 13-17: If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use Monologs. By providing a parent or guardian email address during registration, you confirm that your parent or guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the platform. Special safety restrictions apply to accounts identified as belonging to users under 18. See Section 14 for details.
Adult users: By creating an account as an adult, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
Age information is self-declared. While we cannot independently verify age, we have implemented safety measures for declared minors and take reports of underage users seriously.
By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide, including your date of birth, is truthful and accurate. Providing false information, including misrepresenting your age, is a violation of these terms and may result in immediate account termination.
To use Monologs you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information.

You may not:
We reserve the right to terminate accounts, remove content, or restrict access at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate to protect the platform and its users.
Monologs operates with two primary account types:
Actor Accounts are for individuals seeking to showcase their talent, upload performance videos and self-tapes, and apply for casting opportunities posted on the platform.
Casting Professional / Director Accounts are for individuals or organisations in the film, television, theatre, or commercial industries who wish to discover talent and post casting opportunities.
By selecting your account type, you confirm that your use of that account type is genuine and accurate. Misrepresenting your professional status, for example by creating a Director account without any legitimate casting purpose, is a violation of these terms.
Your content, your responsibility. When you upload, post, or share any content on Monologs - including but not limited to videos, photographs, profile information, messages, comments, and casting call details - you are solely responsible for that content.
By uploading content to Monologs, you confirm that:
Licence to Monologs. By uploading content, you grant Monologs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to reasonable technical processing time.
We do not claim ownership of your content. You retain full ownership of everything you upload.
